The film "Mountains of the Moon" was about europeans who were sent to africa to civilize,explore,conquer.
they faced manny hardships during there time in africa such as african tribes that had no understanding of there language or trade,other hardships were the animals such as lions,also bugs,and diseases.
Lake victoria is the source of the nile river,it is strange and unusual because it is located in africa yet it is named after a british queen.Yet its not strange because it shows that the british discovered it and named it after there queen.
the advatage the europeans had over the africans were the resources and the weapons.
they conquered them so easily because the weapons and resources made it easy to take over.

Scramble For Africa

The scramble for africa was an imperialist move by different countries to the invade and to take over territory of africa.The scramble for africa was also known as the race of africa.
The countries that attempted to control territory in africa were berlin,britain,france,and germany.The reason these countries were atracted to africa was because africa was untouched by imperialism or civilization also racial and economikc reasons.
the africans were dominated so easily because the disadvantage of weapons,communication,and supply europeans had the upper hand in the matter.
It affected the africans in many ways such as comunication,they learned to spaeak english and other languages also they are more civilized,they now have more material weapons.

Simon Bolivar acomplished winning the independence for Bolivia, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela against the Spaniards.As a child his parents died.He entered Merida on May 23 and was proclaimed "Libertador".He was one of South America's greatest generals.He defeated the sapniard in Boyar in 1819 and the land of colombia was liberated.The reason he is such a big hero is because he liberated different lands.The country bolivia was named after Bolivar in 1825.He created a constitution for Bolivia

Evolution Vs. Creation

Charles Darwin was the originator of the human evolution theory,he published a book called the Origin of Species. Charles Darwin stated that humans were not created but evolved from primitive species. Human evolution is the believe that humans came from an earlier form of species.It is a theory to describe development and change. The direct lineage from the ancestor of both man and the modern apes to modern man is not known. Evidence is increasing. Thousands of relics fit the general pattern. Some controversy exists on the time of this common ancestor to both ape and human, but it is believed to be about 5.5 million years ago. Creation was the human act of creating. Creation theology encompasses the belief that human beings, the world and the universe were created by a supreme being or deity. Deity as in a god, is a postulated preternatural being, usually, but not always, of significant power, worshiped, thought holy, divine, or sacred, held in high regard, or respected by human beings.
